In Response to Yasmin Stevens blog, it is very heart rendering on how and why people could have the mind, thought and the audacity to hurt innocent children.

There is no justifiable reason to hurt children. On her thoughts that people like these should be circumcised from birth is unreasonable, because even though Yasmin is right in some ways, I don't think that these evil sinister individuals have those thoughts from birth and those monsters wont be singled out until they acrtually commit the offence.

I just think that the law should bring back hanging alsthough it wont solve the problems of the victim who are the children.

People like them should not be entitled to legal aid or be entitled to a solicitor and should stand and speak for themselves in the court of law. Then get sentenced to hanging on the same day through the media.

This would save room in prisons, government money and get rid of environmental pollution.


This offence is most definitely immoral, dangerous, unhealthy and imprudent.

Comment on Laura Cole on Infidelity.

After reading this blog I can help but think that Laura is inspired by an ideal world.

Of people were to sit down and talk about problems in relationships then may be there would be no such thing as infidelity.

But at the same time some people, infidelity is committed when there is nothing wrong with their relationship, some people are just curious as to what they may be missing out on.

The definitions of infidelity can vary from other peoples perspectives and opinions. What one person may say is infidelity, another person can accept from kissing, to full blown sex with someone else other than your spouse or you partner.

Although some people may stray because they are very unhappy at home and think that an affair can justify their means of being unhappy, akl it does is reate a whole bunch of problems.

On the other hand some people enjoy the excitement of having and affair but will only be sorry when they get caught

Comment on Shane Smiths Blog

Kids:

After reading Shane Smiths comment on the Kids Film, it sent shivers down my spine to read that one of the characters had committed suicide.

To me this makes me view the film to be a little bit more immoral with the under age sex and drinking, imprudent hardly anybody was friendly with each other, unhealthy with all the drugs and smoking especially the part where the mum was breast feeding her baby and smoking at the same time, and dangerous, the unsettling scene where the gang had beaten up the boy at the skating park. The worst part was when someone struck him with the skateboard.

As well as it being distasteful, it makes me think to myself what kind of person would want to direct a film about underage sex, drugs and the main character getting a buzz from sleeping with virgins, did he have a unhappy childhood and did he grow up surrounded by any of these.



Was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma (1943), graduated from Central High school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Attended Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Studied under Walter Sheffer and Gerard Bakker. As well as directing the film Kids, he also had a photographic body of work, including the books Tulsa (1971), Teenage Lust (1982), and Perfect Childhood (1992).


Apart from getting into and argument in a restaurant where had got into a fight, in contrast, he influenced many filmmakers and film from his book Tulsa.
Not a man I would be start struck to meet.

Tattoos,

This lecture on tattoos really opened my eyes to the beauty, relevance and respect tattoos and having them.

I must say that I was oblivious as to how sacred the art of tattoos are.

I do not were a tattoo myself as I think it is unnecessary pain to put yourself through just for vanity. But had I been living in tribal times I don't think i would have a choice.

The lecture opened my eyes to realising that many people symbolise tattoos without realising that it may offend people who wear them as a part of the formation of their lifestyle.


The Maori, designed their faces not for fashion but as a symbol of a lifetime which can say more that words can express. They mark a symbol of life.

Kids (the Film)



Spooky!



After watching the film yesterday it made me wonder why it was shown and what relevance it had on the module.



In many parts of the film it was immoral definitely, unhealthy for real, imprudent you got that right and it was very



As there were many parts of it that was breaking the law, I don't see how it was a part of being bad.



There was disturbing violence, underage drinking, under age sex which were all law breaking activities.



I don't think I learned anything from the film, it was like not other film I have seen, I don't know what audience the film was aimed at, and I don't think it portrayed teenagers very good.



If teenagers behave in this way, then society is in for a disturbing, violent and sad times ahead.



The story line was set in the day in the life of teenagers in New York City, with contents of drug, sex and violence, very dirty and untidy houses, lots of swearing and a flimsy conclusion.



The film had caused a lot of controversy amongst people.



It is a film I would not want to see again or found any relevance as to why it was even released.



I think it would have been better if we had watched Bugsy Malone.
